Dear friends and colleagues,

We set off on our saddest and most painful journey.

We have met with 3  families of our heroes, fallen officers of the Israel Police, in order to give them the donations gathered for them from IPA sections around the world and from policemen organizations in the USA. the "Hashomrim" organization, and the PBA organization from Long Island, New York.

We met with the family of Ravit Assaig, the fallen police officer. The family of the late Yigal Iloz, a police officer of the bomb squad, and the family of Avi Bozaglu, a detective at the Rahat police station. The families told us the story of the fallen officers. The heroism, the sacrifice, the striving for contact and, in fact, the story of the beautiful Land of Israel. We set with them listening to the stories. Hugging and together we mourn the loss of the most precious of all for them and for us.

We just started. The road is still long and we will reach them all.

We continue our sad and painful journey throughout Israel to visit the families of all our heroic policemen. Fallen police officers who fell defending the homeland in the "Iron Swords" War, in order to give to them donations that we collected for them from IPA sections around the world and from policemen organizations in the USA, the "Hashomrim" organization, and the PBA organization from Long Island, New York. Yesterday we visited the family of a special anti-terror unit fighter and the family of the late Mor Shakuri, who was killed in the battle at the Sderot police station. The 29-year-old Mor served as a patrolman at the Sderot police station and was about to get married soon.

We met the father who serves as a policeman in Hebron, the mother, and also the sister who received the bitter news while on her honeymoon abroad. We heard from them Mor's story and the story of her bravery and heroic fighting on the roof of the station together with other policemen. Until she fell from a sniper's bullet. We saw Photos and videos of Mor, all of which feature a huge and captivating smile. Mor's fiancé, who is also a police officer, asked, after her fall, to move to serve at the Sderot police station to continue her legacy. Another story of an Israeli family with a gaping wound in the heart. Another story of bravery. Of determination. Another story of the beautiful and sad Land of Israel. We will continue to reach all the families, touch them, hug them and support them.
